Tips on Programming

Hello guys, so I saw a post on saying that HTML was a good way to start programming and I wish to point out how wrong and misleading that post is.....
Also learning basic javascript or python syntax and frameworks doesn't make you a programmer, it just makes you a developer and in most cases a half assed developer. The fact is that most Nigerian developers are massively underskilled.
If you are going to start programming, here are a few tips:
1. HTML and CSS aren't programming languages, HTML is a markup language while CSS is a stylesheet
2.JavaScript is the most popular language for web development in web1 and web2 cuz it implements a lot of native functionality for web.
3. C++ and C are the gold standard for Operating Systems.
4. Java is the best all rounder language that exists out there as it gives certain implementations that no other language has. Examples are lambda expressions for functional programming, Generic programming and Java has the best implementations and libraries for machine learning.
5.Stay away from frameworks and open sourced code until you have advanced past entry level as a programmer.

6.If you don't have knowledge of Algorithms and Data structures then you are under skilled .
